Reading Assemblies - Look Up! and Danny the Champion of the World

        

For the KS1 Reading Assembly this week, Miss Harman read Look Up! Rocket is a hilarious, science-mad chatterbox - she's going to be the greatest astronaut, star-catcher, space-traveller that has ever lived!

For the KS2 Reading Assembly, Miss Kenealy read an extract from the Roald Dahl classic, Danny the Champion of the World. A young boy named Danny and his father, a poacher, devise a clever plan to outwit a cruel and wealthy landowner, Mr Hazell.
