Lunchtime library club
Last week, the lunchtime library club celebrated Harry Potter Book Day by designing their own wizard hat!
Book of the Week
*Little Bear by Autumn Publishing* Have you ever wondered what happens during the first year of a little bear's life? Follow a grizzly bear cub, from his first steps out of the den and meeting new friends to digging a new den ready for hibernation.
Chatterbooks sessions
Last week, new library Chatterbooks groups enjoyed listening to There's A Snake In My School. Everyone had lots of fun creating their own snake.
Spinebreakers trip
Last Thursday, some of the Year 5 Spinebreakers had a fun trip to Harold Hill library. They read books, completed book reviews, listened to stories and learned how to use the library self-service machine to borrow books.
Book Fair
Thank you so much to everyone who purchased books at our recent Book Fair. Together, your purchases enabled us to buy
42 new books!
These wonderful new books will be added to our school Library collection. We have lots of very excited children who cannot wait to start reading them.
Spooky Season display
We have a bumper selection of Spooky Season books for all ages, as well as some new display additions to the library!
Blue Peter Reading Badge
Two more of our super Spinebreakers have applied for their Blue Peter Reading badges!

Urgent request - Returning borrowed library books
We have so many lovely books in our library but, unfortunately, many of them get borrowed by a child and then never returned to the library. Please can you check at home to see if you have any Broadford library books (stamped inside/Broadford logo attached). If you do, please pass them to your child to return to the library asap, where our Book Monster is waiting to eat them! Thank you.
