Harry Potter Book Night Coming February 2016!

We are getting into the spirit of celebrating the Harry Potter Book Night which takes place February 4th 2016.

Pupils can get involved by reading their way through the whole Harry Potter series, earning a certificate for each book they read. Or they may choose to invent their own magical spell!

Jameel has been busy creating his at home...

To take part, simple pick up an entry sheet from the library. You will need to give your spell a name, tell us what words you have to say in order to cast your spell and of course, tell us what happens when you cast you spell!

For inspiration take a look at our Harry Potter display that will be regularly updated with spells created by the pupils of Broadford. This is a UK based competition, where there is the prize of a 'Professor of Potter' live event for the school up for grabs!

Why not have a bit of fun and visit the Harry Potter website to see what your wizard name would be!

Good luck!
