Premier Reading League Winners Tour The Emirates Stadium!

On Monday 23 June the winners of the Premier Reading League toured The Emirates stadium!

Look at the circle on the bottom left - below the glass is a time capsule holding 25 items from Arsenal's history. The capsule contains; a list of all Arsenal players ever, Tony Adams' captain's armband, piece of Highbury turf, every Arsenal home shirt, replica model of Highbury, marble from Marble Halls, aerial picture of Highbury, a Highbury flag, record of all matches played at Highbury, picture of Ian Wright's celebration after record breaking goal, history of Arsenal from 1886 - present (Video), History of Crest, signed shirt of the current squad, picture of all Arsenal managers, pictures of all captains in sequence, video montage of memorable moments, replica of clock from Clock End, copy of newspaper the day the capsule was buried, picture of old North Bank crowded, picture or replica of all trophies won, a Highbury match ticket, David Rocastle shirt, video guided tour of Highbury, picture of the famous back 4 and fans' message book.

After each season the pitch is taken up and new turf is laid. They are already preparing the grass for when the new season begins in August! Each blade of grass has to be no higher than 2cms.

Outside the stadium they had pictures of all the players from Arsenal. Yinka and Jack copy Olivier Giroud's goal celebration.

We got behind the desk where footballers and managers are interviewed. Jack had everyone laughing with his impression of Arsene Wenger!

There was also a museum, here we discovered more about the history of Arsenal, did you know it cost 400 million pound to rebuild the stadium back in 2006.

The stadium holds over 60,000 supporters.

The home changing room was impressive with it's jacuzzi and physio room.

We took in the views from the sideline while sitting in Arsene Wenger's and the players' seats!

Look out for more chances to win tickets for matches and stadium tours when we return in the Autumn term.

Tom Palmer's 'Foul Play: Brazil' - A World Cup Adventure - Chapter 8 (You Decide!)

What happens next in the story is up to you, pick you favourite storyline from the three options below. Once you have made your decision let Miss Sparkes know and we will send our votes off to Tom Palmer.

Option one:
Charlotte and Danny don't meet Beacon, because it is a very bad idea to meet people you have 'met' on the Internet. But they do speak by email. It is clear that he is a brilliant blogger with lots of readers. They agree to go back into the Amazon to gather information about the animals for him to use in his blog. But their flight back to the Amazon crashes and our two heroes are pitched into a terrifying survival story, hunted by both deadly animals and old enemy of Danny's who is determined to destroy the Amazon rainforest to make billions - and working with MANU.

Option two:
Beacon is not a real blogger. He is in league with MANU. His blog is a trap for Danny and Charlotte. He tries to hand over Danny and Charlotte to the ghost woman. Charlotte is captured. Danny gets away. Then MANU contact Danny to say he can have Charlotte back if he hands over their bottles he took when he escaped from them. These chapters will be mostly in a city setting.

Option three:
Danny and Charlotte tell the police about what they have found out and - now that there is less civil unrest in Brazil - the police listen and together they catch MANU. Danny and Charlotte then decide to go and watch the Costa Rica game, hoping that England can stay in the tournament. Somehow. Because if England go out, they will have to go home and back to school.
