Meet the Spinebreakers for 2026/27!

   

We are very pleased to introduce our new library Spinebreakers for 2026/27! 

The Spinebreakers play an important role within our school library.
Their duties include:

* making links with our local library *

* helping to purchase books from Waterstones *

 * keeping their class library tidy *

* helping to promote reading challenges and competitions *

* delivering our Story Scrapbook to classes across the school *

* recommending books *

* helping Miss Flower, the school librarian, in the library *

Here are the Spinebreakers for this year. 

Year 1 Spinebreakers: Hamza, Eden, Thomas, Amaya, Matei and Ameera

Year 2 Spinebreakers: Jahmai, Jazelle, Eden, Elisa, Harry and Prisha

Year 3 Spinebreakers: Oscar, Chalva, Azlan, Abshara, Kajus and Alice

Year 4 Spinebreakers: Jason, Eridola, Damian, Elyssa, Kevin and Amaya

Year 5 Spinebreakers: Rehan, Gabrielle, Rohith, Darcey, Aisosa and Moyo

Year 6 Spinebreakers: Torsten, Amaira, Ayaan, Elizabeth, Adyaan and Faith

Blue Peter Reading Badge

The Spinebreakers will also be working to earn their Blue Peter Reading Badges!
