Reading Assemblies - A kind witch and cool facts about Egypt!

In KS1 this week, Miss Myers read Julia Donaldson's ever so popular, Room on the Broom! This kind and caring witch makes plenty of room on her broom for the animals she passes.

This book features on the Reception 105 book list, which you can see here

In KS2 this week, Mr Cardwell shared some interesting facts from Project Ancient Egypt. Did you know that the Nile, which can be found in northeast Africa, has long been recognised as the longest river in the world – stretching a massive 6,695km?!

This book features on the Year 3 105 book list, which you can see here

Copies of these books can be found in our school library to borrow.

Please email Miss Flower and Mrs Jobber if you are looking for one of the '105 Books to Read', with your child's full name and class.
