Years 3 and 4 Spinebreakers Visit Waterstones!

On Wednesday, our very excited Spinebreakers from years 3 and 4 took the bus into Romford to visit Waterstones and choose a selection of new books for our library. They were also treated to hot chocolates and cakes in Costa!

Find out more about their books...

Olivia enjoys reading the Rainbow Magic books so she chose two more books from the series, Chrissie the Wish Fairy and Becky the Best Friend Fairy.

With so many wonderful stories on offer, Fayo found choosing a little more challenging. The two he decided on were Beast Quest's Grashkor the Beast Guard and The Diary of Dennis the Menace. Excellent choices Fayo!

Lilly is frequently visiting the library to borrow books so she knew she wanted something different to what is currently on offer. She therefore chose Judy Moody was in a Mood and Oliver and the Seawigs.

Oliver went for The Long Haul, another book from the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. His second book was by footballer Frankie Lampard, Frankie's Magic Football Meteor Madness.

Melisa chose one of Waterstones' best selling books this week, The Snow Spider. She also picked up a copy of the children's classic, Peter Pan.

Ketty went for The Worst Witch by Jill Murrey and Francesca Simon's Horrid Henry Rocks!

Ja'Shayla picked out two books from the Daisy series by Kes Grey, The Trouble with Burglars and The Trouble with Kittens.

Jameel already knew he wanted to get the latest story from Jeff Kinney so he was pleased to see Diary of a Wimpy Kid Double Down on display! His second choice was a book from the Tom Gates series, Dog Zombies Rule!

With very few Sea Quest books available in our library, Leo decided to add a few to our shelves. His choices were Crusher the Creeping Terror and Silda the Electric Eel. I'm sure these books will be snapped up in no time!

Deniz's two choices were, Star Wars Before the Awakening and The London Eye Mystery. We look forward to reading these books too Deniz!

All of these books are now available to borrow so please come along to the library and take a look!
