Africa's five ugliest animals, the warthog, wildebeest, hyena, marabou stork and vulture, swagger proudly across the Savannah. Rejoicing in their ugliness and delighting their babies, who think they are perfect just the way they are!



Stripy dog Dylan returns for this third picture book in the series. This time he wants to play schools, but he soon finds out that being a teacher isn't as easy as it looks!



This sweet little character receives his very first party invitation in the post. Excited, but a little nervous, he makes his way into town to pick the perfect party outfit. The day of the party arrives and he is feeling anxious as he rings the doorbell, but he soon gets into the party spirit, until the dreaded moment comes when the singing starts... 



King Cupcake is captured by hungry aliens! Princess Spaghetti sets out to rescue her dad, but only when tempting the aliens with tastier treats will they let her father go.



Frog is fed up with being sat on by dog, so he changes the rules - from now on dogs sit on logs, cats sit on gnats (ouch), cheetahs sit on pizzas and elephants sit on smelly pants!

Summer Holidays' Reading Challenges

Don't stop reading this summer!!

As well as our Get Caught Reading challenge, you can also complete the Summer Holidays' Reading Tracker that you were given today. This contains a variety of reading activities including, a summer reading bucket list, research ideas and a log for recording all of the summer stories you read.

If you complete your tracker don't forget to hand it in when we return to school in September.

Summer Term PRL Winners Day Out!


The reading champions of the Summer Term's Premier Reading League celebrated their win yesterday at Kidspace and Kaspas! Great fun was had by all!

If you would like the chance to choose a fun day out, simply create a team in September for the next reading league.


Fresh Start Pupils Visit The Pink Parachute Pottery Cafe


Our Fresh Start pupils were reward with a trip to The Pink Parachute Pottery Café in Hornchurch for their creative work surrounding the story of Victor Frankenstein's Creature. The pupils chose a plain piece of pottery which they decorated in their choice of colours and designs. Look at their amazing pieces...
