Calling All Super Star Readers!

As you may already know our school YouTube channel is full of wonderful stories read by our brilliant pupils. These stories can be used to support your learning on My Book Blog, as well as being a great resource for bedtime reading!

As we are spending more time at home, we thought this was the perfect opportunity for our pupils to get involved and share videos of themselves reading their favourite stories. They may wish to read alone, or with a sibling/siblings.

How to get involved:
1. Create a comfortable, bright reading area.
2. Choose a book you love. Older children may wish to read the opening chapter of their favourite book.
3. Ask an adult to record for you in landscape.
4. Make sure your voice is loud and clear (practising your story a copy of times first is always helpful!)
5. Once your happy with your video send it to your year group’s mail box along with the story’s title and name of the author.

Once we receive your video we will add an opening title and closing credits. This will be uploaded to our YouTube channel and shared on our school’s Facebook page.

Certificates will be awarded to all who get involved!
