Spinebreakers Trip To Waterstones and Newsletter - Issue 2

On Wednesday, the Spinebreakers visited Waterstones in Romford where they each purchased two books for our school library. Over the coming weeks, the Spinebreakers will be promoting their books to their classmates.

In order to borrow one of their books, you will need to collect a bookmark from them. The Spinebreakers are holding their own competition to see whose books are most popular. So once you've finished reading, pass the book back to Miss Sparkes, who will give you a token for the Spinebreakers box. We will announce the best book before the Christmas holidays.

The blogposts for the rest of the week will feature the Spinebreakers talking about their book choices. Shyanne, Deborah and Thelma will take over Tuesday's post.

Here is issue 2 of the Spinebreakers newsletter.

James' adventures continue in the Highlands of Scotland, where he investigates the mysterious disappearance of local boy Alfie Kelly, With the help of Alfie's irrepressible cousin Red. To decipher the deadly mystery, James Bond must take a series of dangerous gambles. Once the code is cracked, he has just 48 hours to save the professor from the dark forces that threaten to destroy them both.
