Ten pupils across years 4 and 5 will bring home letters tonight regarding a new Harry Potter course that will run across this academic year.
Group members: Timi-David Adelowo, Eryia Byamugisha, Ramone Holme-Slater, Callie-Rose Barnett, Amelia Hynes, Simran Bashir, Tyler Wager, Fayo Ayodola, Naleli Sibanda and Aaliyah Yasrin.
The pupils in the group will each receive a Hogwarts activity book to complete when they meet on a weekly basis (during the school day). Every six weeks, they will be treated to special showings of the Harry Potter films. They will be given opportunities to read and review the whole series of books and make notes on the films. At the end of each half term the Broadford team will go head-to-head with the team at Mead, who have also been studying in the same way. There will be six rounds in total, each round they will be aiming to win a Hogwarts-themed badge.
As a reward, at the end of the year the pupils who have participated in the course across the Federation will be taken on a trip to the Harry Potter Studio Tour.
