Later in the week, pupils will bring home a sponsor booklet and bookmark. We kindly ask that pupils are sponsored reading for 10 minutes every day. Sponsors can be anyone: aunts, uncles, cousins, nans or neighbours - the more the merrier!
Our Readathon will start on Friday 24th February and will last for two weeks; coming to an end on Friday 10th March. We ask that sponsor money is sent into school in a sealed envelope with the child's name and class on the front by Friday 17th March 2023. The two children who raise the most will receive National Book Tokens.
Money raised will be spent on brand new books for children who are being cared for in hospitals across the country. As a school, we will receive 20% of the total amount raised to spend on new books for our pupils.
