Reading Assembly - Welcome Back!

Welcome back! We hope you had an enjoyable week off. This half of the Spring Term is jam-packed with lots of reading fun; we have World Book Day, author visits, reading reward trips, Spinebreaker outings and a Readathon to look forward to!

Miss Hamilton lead the KS2 assembly with an introduction to the text 'Anisha: Accidental Detective' by Selena Patel. This mystery has the reader firmly on the edge of their seat! Anisha awaits the 'wedding of the year', but in the lead-up receives an unexpected letter explaining that her uncle (the groom) has been kidnapped! It's up to Anisha to solve the case and reunite the bride and groom. This book can be found on the Year 6 Reading Tracker.

105 Books to Read Before you Leave Broadford

Well done to Awwal for reading five books and earning his Bronze Certificate.

Super effort from Medeea and Ashar, who have read ten books and received their Silver Certificates.

Congratulations to Lujah and Ashton, who have read all fifteen books and earned their Gold Certificates!

Reading Achievements

Our book bloggers have been very busy! Grace and Fariha completed their first three texts on their virtual bookshelves. Laura, Liroshan, Georgia, Stefania and Zuriel have finished nine books each, all of which have been read and reviewed. Veer now has eighteen books completed on this bookshelf - what an achievement! For their reading efforts, they have all received certificates.
