For the KS1 Reading Assembly this week, Mrs Stanley read some of The Hodgeheg. After attempting to cross the road, hedgehog Max suffers a bump to the head, causing him to muddle his words. The story teaches us about road safety as Max tries to understand how humans cross the road.
