Lunchtime library club
The Library Club was very popular this week. Everyone enjoyed making a start on their Comic Books. We have seen some lovely ideas. Well done all!

 New in the Library
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.....
We have been very busy getting the Library ready for Christmas.
Read here for more information and photos!

Chatterbooks sessions
Last week, the KS1 Chatterbooks groups listened to the story There's No Such Thing As... ELVES.  Everyone enjoyed searching for the Elves in the story and taking a 'Selfie' with the Elf hats, as well as completing a fun activity before finishing the session.

New KS2 Chatterbooks groups enjoyed a festive-themed story and activity with The Smelly Sprout. Everyone had great fun making their own sprout characters!

Book reviews
Aida in Year 6 really enjoyed reading one of the very popular Dork Diaries series books - Pop Star. She highly recommends it as she says reading it makes you feel like a pop star!

105 Books reading achievements
Well done to Daman, Aurika, Evie, Teodor and Chloe who have received their Bronze Certificates for reading five books.
Well done to all!

You can find the books from the 105 Books list for your child's year group here

Blue Peter Reading Badge
More children have continued receiving their Blue Peter Reading Badges in the post! Congratulations to Jessica, Kindah and Tala

Earn your Blue Peter Reading Badge! See how you can take part here or pick up an entry form from the library.

Urgent request - Returning borrowed library books
We have had lots of lovely new books added to the library collection over the past couple of months but, unfortunately, many of them have been borrowed by children and never returned to the library. Please can you check at home to see if you have any Broadford library books (stamped inside/Broadford logo attached). If you do, please pass them to your child to return to the library asap, where our Book Monster is waiting to eat them! Thank you.
