Our First Visit To Waterstones 23/24!

The Year 6 Spinebreakers headed to Waterstones in Romford yesterday, where they spent the morning picking out a variety of books to buy for our school library.

Take a look at the books they purchased:

Noah thoroughly enjoys the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, making his first choice an easy one! His second book came from the Ultimate Football Heroes collection and follows Arsenal midfielder, Saka.

Ava chose Dav Pilkey's 'Dog Man Twenty Thousand Fleas Under the Sea' and 'Cat on the Run' by Bad Guys' author, Aaron Blabey.

Aksanan was torn over what books he'd most enjoy. In the end he went for an Ultimate Football Heroes biography following the success of Haaland. His second pick was 'Minecraft the Island' by Max Brooks.

Serena Patel's first book in her series of Anisha Accidental Detective was a huge hit with Nevaeh, so she jumped at the chance of reading the newest book in the series, Beach Disaster! Nevaeh's second book was by Laura Ellen Anderson, Nevaeh expressed her love for all Anderson's books, so was pleased to find 'Rainbow Grey, Eye of the Storm' upon the shelves.

Football-mad Adu followed in the footsteps of Noah and Aksanan by choosing a book from the Ulitmate Football Heroes collection, he opted for the book of Bellingham. Adu's second book was written by Marcus Rashford and teaches you how to make a difference.

Following their successful shopping trip, our Year 6 Spinebreakers enjoyed cakes and hot chocolates in the W Cafe. All books are no available for you to borrow from the Library; take a look on your next visit.
