More Blue Peter Reading Badges Earned!

Blue Peter Reading Badges

More book badge application forms have been posted!
Well done to Nyasa, Awwal, Jessica-Rose, Ipsa, Abrish, Jefflyn, Veer, Syed, Safiyyah and Aisha for completing the task at home. Fingers crossed your badges arrive soon!

Book Bloggers, Joshua and Elena worked with Lemar to complete their entry forms. They have all been reading the Goosebumps series lately, Elena drew a fantastic picture of Slappy! Joshua wrote about 'The Boy Who Grew Dragons', this book features on the Year 3 Reading Tracker and is one of Joshua's favourite books. Lemar couldn't stop writing about the books he loves to read in the library.

Our super Spinebreakers, Megan Simon, Eddie and Anushri spent time in the library to complete their sheets. Megan is a huge Tom Gates fan, her Tom Gates inspired illustration is worthy of a Blue Peter Badge! Eddie absolutely loves Pamela Butchart's hilarious tales; he wrote about her story, There's a Beast in the Basement - despite its scary title, Eddie assures me it will make you laugh! Anushri has been reading her way through the children's adapted tales of Sherlock Holmes, so wanted to share why she loves the stories so much.

If you'd like to earn your own Blue Peter Reading Badge, pick up an entry form for the library or print one here.

  1. So great to hear how much the children love reading. Such a worthwhile thing to keep books alive and not just on-line reading. It has its place, but books are far more tactile and don't need an i internet connection either!! Well done to everyone involved in the reading challenges. ❤👍❤
