Yesterday morning, our Year 2 Spinebreakers had a wonderful time taking part in a Teddy Bears Reading Picnic!
First, they all had the exciting task of choosing which cuddly toy they would be taking to the picnic, and which bear-themed book they would like to read.
Once they had chosen their picnic friends and books, Miss Flower started the fun by reading everyone the funny Teddy Bears Picnic story.
Then, everyone quietly read their book aloud to their cuddly toy.
Next, everyone chose some bear colouring sheets and produced some wonderful artwork.
Miss Flower then read another book to the group while everyone enjoyed a yummy sweet treat and drink to end the perfect Teddy Bears Reading Picnic!
Back in the library, the Spinebreakers were all awarded special certificates for taking part - everyone said they had the best time!
