Lunchtime library club
Last week in the library, our lunchtime club continued planning their own Comic Books. They have come up with some great ideas.
New in the Library
Last Wednesday, every class in the school had a lovely visit from two Cheeky Elves! The Elves delivered three festive books for each of the classes to read in the lead up to the Christmas Holidays. Each week, they can unwrap one book to discover a festive tale to share.
Chatterbooks sessions
Last week, the KS1 Chatterbooks groups continued with the story The Leaf Thief. The children enjoyed making their own Leaf Thief.
The KS2 Chatterbooks groups continued enjoying fun Mr Men and Little Miss themed sessions, while listening to Mr Men: The Great British Tour. Everyone had a great time using their imaginations to design their own Mr Men/Little Miss!
Book reviews

Urgent request - Returning borrowed library books
We have had lots of lovely new books added to the library collection over the past couple of months but, unfortunately, many of them have been borrowed by children and never returned to the library. Please can you check at home to see if you have any Broadford library books (stamped inside/Broadford logo attached). If you do, please pass them to your child to return to the library asap, where our Book Monster is waiting to eat them! Thank you.
