Welcome to the Broadford Library Weekly Newsletter!
Each week, I will be bringing you a look back on the previous week in the library, including the fun that our lunchtime library clubs have had, new books, children's book reviews, library displays and much more!

Book of the Week
The Book of the Week last week was Gigantosaurus by Jonny Duddle.
Each dinosaur mum said, "Beware my child, of the GIGANTOSAURUS so fierce and wild. His feet go STOMP! His jaws go CRUNCH! In the blink of an eye you'll be his LUNCH!"

Library displays
Easter
Last week, we celebrated Easter with lots of fun books and the Spring Reading Challenge for children to take home to complete over the Easter holidays.
Shakespeare Week 2026
Last week in the library, we also celebrated the works of William Shakespeare, with lots of his classics available for children to enjoy.
Broadford Library In Numbers - Spring 2 term
Spring 2 may have been a short half term, but it was still very busy in the library, with lots of groups, activities and trips, and so many super readers enjoying the bumper range of books that the library has to offer! Read the latest Broadford Library In Numbers for Spring 2 term here

Urgent request - Returning borrowed library books
We have so many lovely books in our library but, unfortunately, many of them get borrowed by a child and then never returned to the library. Please can you check at home to see if you have any Broadford library books (stamped inside/Broadford logo attached). If you do, please pass them to your child to return to the library asap, where our Book Monster is waiting to eat them! Thank you.
