Spinebreakers
Last Thursday, our Year 2 Spinebreakers had an enjoyable trip to Harold Hill library, where they read stories and completed book reviews, and learnt how to use the library equipment to return books. Everyone had a great time!
Raising Readers at Home
Our new, regular library blog series all about helping parents and carers to grow, encourage and nurture children's love of reading at home continued last week all about the importance of starting to read to your child from birth. You can read more here
105 Books reading achievements
Well done to Zyana, Tesha, Yehor, Lochlan, Joshua, Hayden, Duke, Aisosa and Esmee who have received their Bronze Certificates for reading five books.
Well done to Tiya, Tesha, Esmee, Vikhyat, Nikita, Moyo, Harry, Roza and Chirag who have received their Silver Certificates for reading 10 books.
Well done to Tiya, Zofia, Eddie, Tesha, Roza, Chirag, Jackson and Mateo who have earned their Gold Certificates for reading all 15 books!
And an extra special well done to Eddie in Year 6 who has now completed the 105 Books reading challenge, having read all of them! What an achievement!

Urgent request - Returning borrowed library books
We have had lots of lovely new books added to the library collection over the past couple of months but, unfortunately, many of them have been borrowed by children and never returned to the library. Please can you check at home to see if you have any Broadford library books (stamped inside/Broadford logo attached). If you do, please pass them to your child to return to the library asap, where our Book Monster is waiting to eat them! Thank you.
