Mrs Nicholls lead the KS1 assembly this week with Rachel Bright's brilliant tale of 'The Lion Inside'. Little mouse dreams of becoming more like Lion - brave, courageous and bold. Miss Kenealy shared Lara Williamson's tale 'A Boy Called Hope'. The story follows eleven-year-old Dan. Dan longs to reconnect with his father, who left the family home a few year prior. This book can be found on the Year 6 Reading Tracker.
Reading Achievements
Well done to Callie, Manreet, Parisa, Gurrehmat, Antonina, Pragya, Miya-Rose, Jefflyn and Khushbakht for reading five books from their '105 Books' tracker. They have all earned Bronze Certificates.
Excellent reading effort from Ava, Darcie, Laura and Albie. They have read ten books and earned their Silver Certificates.
Well done to Alfie, Rithik, Olivia, Amaya and Emily. They have all completed their trackers by reading all fifteen books!
