Summer Term PRL Winners Day Out!

The reading champions of the Summer Term's Premier Reading League celebrated their win yesterday at Kidspace and Kaspas! Great fun was had by all!

If you would like the chance to choose a fun day out, simply create a team in September for the next reading league.

Fresh Start Pupils Visit The Pink Parachute Pottery Cafe

Our Fresh Start pupils were reward with a trip to The Pink Parachute Pottery Café in Hornchurch for their creative work surrounding the story of Victor Frankenstein's Creature. Get Caught Reading 2018!

Get Caught Reading returns for the Summer Holidays!!

Make sure you share your photos of yourselves reading in unusually interesting locations! Simply share your photos through our Facebook and Twitter accounts, or email them to the school office. The photos will be judged when we return to school in September, and the best entries will receive book tokens to the value of 5 and 10 pounds.

New Spinebreakers 2018/19

Exciting News!

Our new Spinebreakers for 2018/19 are...

They will be our link between the classrooms and library - interviewing authors and illustrators; purchasing new books; working with the local library, and promoting reading challenges and competitions.

Join Us After School For The Last Night Of The Book Fair!

Come along and visit the book fair tonight. We will be based outside the door where children exit at the end of the school day.

All books are on offer - 3 for the price of 2!

Summer Term Book Fair

Our wonderful Book Fair helpers held a Summer-themed fair last week. They enticed customers in with delicious marshmallow cones and the chance of winning vouchers to spend on books.

Altogether they raised more than 80 pounds to spend on books for our library!
