Lunchtime library club
Last week, our lunchtime library club got creative and enjoyed making cards for Father's Day.
Chatterbooks sessions
Last week, the KS1 Chatterbooks groups enjoyed listening to The Paper Dolls! The children had great fun creating their own Paper Dolls and giving them names.
KS2 Chatterbooks groups continued enjoyed sessions focusing on Alan's Big, Scary Teeth. Everyone had fun tackling Alligator-themed wordsearches or making their own Alan the alligator - some children even turned them into little Father's Day gifts!
Raising Readers at Home
Our new, regular library blog series all about helping parents and carers to grow, encourage and nurture children's love of reading at home continued last week all about repetition when reading. You can read more here
Book Review
Aisha in Year 6 really enjoyed reading Goosebumps: The Graphic Novel, which is one of our newly purchased library additions. She gave it 4.5 out of 5 and said it left you tempted to find out the rest of the story.

Urgent request - Returning borrowed library books
We have had lots of lovely new books added to the library collection over the past couple of months but, unfortunately, many of them have been borrowed by children and never returned to the library. Please can you check at home to see if you have any Broadford library books (stamped inside/Broadford logo attached). If you do, please pass them to your child to return to the library asap, where our Book Monster is waiting to eat them! Thank you.
