Chatterbooks sessions
Last week, the KS1 Chatterbooks groups enjoyed listening to the story Stick Man. The children in Year 1 made their own Stick Man. Year 2 enjoyed drawing Stick Man's family portrait and Reception enjoyed a colouring activity.
New KS2 Chatterbooks groups enjoyed shared reads of the funny book, You Can't Take An Elephant On The Bus. All of the groups used super listening and recall skills to answer 10 questions about the story correctly. Well done everyone!
Last week, our Year 3 Spinebreakers had a lovely visit to Harold Hill library. They read stories, completed book reviews, learned how the library works and had a try of using the library machine to borrow books. Everyone had a great time!
Book reviews
Our Year 3 Spinebreakers completed some great book reviews during their trip to the library last week.

Urgent request - Returning borrowed library books
We have had lots of lovely new books added to the library collection over the past couple of months but, unfortunately, many of them have been borrowed by children and never returned to the library. Please can you check at home to see if you have any Broadford library books (stamped inside/Broadford logo attached). If you do, please pass them to your child to return to the library asap, where our Book Monster is waiting to eat them! Thank you.
