Reading Assembly - Summer Achievements!

Welcome back to our weekly Reading Assemblies! This week, we had a huge pile of certificates and prizes to hand out to the children who participated in the summer reading challenges.

Facebook Summer Questions

During the six-weeks holidays, you may have seen over on our Facebook page that we asked a story-related questions. We chose one children, who correctly answered the questions, at random. The winners were rewarded with goody bags. Thank you to everybody who participated.

Summer Reading Challenge Raffle Winner

We held a raffle to encourage pupils to head down to their local libraries over the summer and sign up to the National Summer Reading Challenge. At random, we chose one lucky winner to receive a National Book Token to spend on a book of their choice. Well done to Dhaksha!

We recieved so many photos of our super pupils at their local libraries with their certiicates. Get Caught Reading 2023

From Thorndon Park, globe-trotting, post-karate lessons, the shores of Loch Doon, Romanian countryside's to being struggled up in a cosy spot on the sofa, we have received more than 100 photos of our very own dedicated readers over the summer break.
