Jeremy Strong tells the children how he likes to plan for his stories, he always uses black ink! |
Reading a chapter from, Giant Jim and the Hurricane |
Jeremy works at the end of his garden in his shed, he likes it to be nice and quiet so he can concentrate. |
Talking about one of his popular children's books, My Brother's Famous Bottom! |
After working with KS1, Jeremy visited our library, where he recorded a book review of The Hundred Mile-An-Hour Dog using the audioboo app, and special a Super Reader video. He really brings the story of The Shark and the Park alive with his brilliant use of expression!
You can listen to the book review here...
Last week we set up a Jeremy Strong Book Club where a group of year 5 pupils were selected to create a newspaper/magazine. To support their work, a few pupils from the group came along to the library at lunchtime to interview Jeremy.
As an extra treat Jeremy signed 16 new books for our library! We now have the collection of Cartoon Kid, some extra copies of My Brother's Famous Bottom and The Hundred Mile-An-Hour Dog, as well as Doctor Bonkers, Krankeinstein's Crazy House of Horror and The Pirate School Collection!
