Premier Reading League - Winners Announced!
The Premier Reading League has come to an end! The Big Brains took the title of 'Winning Team'. Made up of team members Nicole, Laura, Shajia, Carla, Brian, Ryan and Miss Betty, they earned a total of 475 points! As a reward for their reading efforts, they will be treated to a trip of their choice. Well done to everybody who participated. The Premier Reading League will return in the next academic year.
For the KS2 assembly, Mrs Green returned with her copy of The Iron Man. She had previously introduced the story back in the Autumn Term and due to its popularity, she continued on to chapter 2! This book can be found on the Year 5 Reading Tracker.
Reading Achievements
Well done to Sophie and Samairah for reading five books and earning their Bronze Certificates.
Well done to Alice, Lujah, Adam, Amerah, Ashton and Emily for reading ten books and earning their Silver Certificates.
Well done to Jaxon and Alariah for reading all fifteen and earning their Gold Certificates.
Winter Reading Challenge
These children successfully completed their Winter Reading challenges - Nyasa, Nashwan, Iustin, Adam, Osman, Liroshan, Zhyan, Arnish and Madalina.
