Pupils Earn Their War Medals

On Friday we had 12 War medals awarded to pupils who have been taking part in the library's reading challenge. Finley, Teni, Kieran, Arhann and Mervyn all achieved their First World War medals by reading three books from our recommended reading list. Titles include, War Horse, Horrible Histories, The Story of World War One, and Archie's War. They all went on to read three books from our World War Two book list, earning their second medal. This time they were joined by Chloe and Nathaniel. We have lots of new World War Two books on offer for all ages, so, if you would like to take part please see Miss Sparkes in the library and start reading today.
